A Massachusetts-based InventHelp client has invented the Remora, which is being submitted to companies for review.

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 16, 2014

With the popularity of biking for both fitness and environmental reasons on the rise, the incidence of bicycle theft is greater than ever before. Because of the creativity of an inventor from Hull, Mass., there is now an improved security device for bicycles.

He developed REMORA to eliminate the need for a cyclist to carry a separate security device while riding. Furthermore, it provides a more stylish option than conventional bicycle security devices. Besides heightening security by protecting against bicycle theft, it also is designed for convenience, ease of installation and use. Another advantage is that it reduces weight and increases balance for greater control of the vehicle. Moreover, it eliminates the inconvenience, lost time and expense resulting from the loss or theft of a bicycle. In addition, it is designed for durability and years of maintenance-free use.

The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "When I was biking," he said, "I was dissatisfied with conventional security devices that were inconvenient to use and weighed too much."
The original design was submitted to the Boston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
