Jeffersonville road rage suspect released from hospital, now behind bars

 LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man police say was involved in a road rage incident in Jeffersonville has been released from the hospital. Donald Eldridge of Louisville is now behind bars.

Police say on Tuesday he pulled a gun on another driver on I-65.

When a Jeffersonville police officer spotted his car in the area of Charlestown Pike near Utica Sellersburg Road -- he ditched his car, took off running and hid.

A Police K-9 unit found him and bit him, which is what landed him in the hospital.

Police searched his car and found marijuana they say was packaged for distribution, meth, and pills.

Eldridge faces several drug related charges and resisting law enforcement.
