LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A suspect in an Oldham County homicide was found in New York, according to New York State Police.

Miles J. Matthews, 27, of Corydon, Indiana was arrested in Watertown, New York at around 10 a.m. Sunday, following a traffic stop.
He is charged with murder and theft by unlawful taking.

Police believe he's responsible for the death of Adam Gregg, 34, who was found murdered Thursday off Highway 42, near Buckner in Oldham County

New York State Police say Matthews was driving Gregg's car at the time of his arrest.

Authorities in New York say they were alerted Saturday by Kentucky police that Matthews might be in the area.

The New York State Police website says Matthews is being held without bail.
