Motorcyclists raise $1 million for Kosair Charities in 70-mile ride

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Hundreds of men and women revved their engines today to help Kosair Charities. 

This the the 15th annual Charity Ride and officials say the largest rally in the state. 

Motorcyclists participated in a 70-mile ride, starting at the Sam Swope Auto Center and ending at the Kosair Shrine Temple. 

Since it began, the Charity Ride has raised more than $1 million for Kosair Kids. 

"What a great day," Kosair Charities President Randy Coe said. "A great day for kids, a great blessing for kids that need somebody to help them, and we're really glad to make that happen for them."

Sam Swope sponsored the Charity Ride. It also included the chance to win a new Harley Davidson.
