LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Exams secretly recorded by a gynecologist have cost John Hopkins Hospital a $190 million payout.
That's the settlement just filed today to female victims.
Authorities say Dr. Nikita Levy used a pen-like camera that he wore around his neck to videotape his patients.
The doctor secretly taped more than 8,000 of his patients in the exam room.
Investigators say there is no evidence he shared the roughly 1,200 videos and 140 photographs with anyone.
Levy committed suicide a year and a half ago while under investigation and was never charged.
