LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A newly released Maker's Mark bottle features an image of University of Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich and the ACC logo. The bottles were unveiled Tuesday at a news conference.

Among those in attendance were Maker’s Mark Chief Operating Officer Rob Samuels, U of L Vice-President/Director of Athletics Tom Jurich (via teleconference), men’s basketball coach Rick Pitino and men’s soccer coach Ken Lolla. Sales of the bottles will benefit the UofL Academic Center for Excellence to be built on the U of L campus. So far about $2.5 million has been raised for the center.

The bottles will be on retailers' shelves on Friday, July 25, and should sell for about $50.

According to Senior Associate Athletic Director Kenny Klein, Jurich, Samuels, Chairman Emeritus Bill Samuels, Jr. and Master Distiller Greg Davis will autograph bottles at a special ticketed signing event. Beginning at 10 a.m. on July 30, tickets for the autograph session will go on sale for $1 each at this link: http://tinyurl.com/pshteqv.

Each ticket allows the bearer to have one bottle signed, and only the ticket-holder will be admitted to the event. Bottles must be purchased at a retail outlet prior to the signing -- there will be no bottles for sale at the event. A total of 700 tickets will be sold online on a first come, first served basis.

Participants must be at least 21 years of age to attend the signing. Only the 2014 Jurich commemorative bottles will be signed.

The bottle-signing will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 13, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the KFC Yum! Center main lobby. Previously purchased tickets will be available to be picked up at the KFC Yum! Center main front lobby beginning at 4 p.m.

Tickets will not be sold at the door.
