LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --  Robbers fired a shot into the air during a robbery at a McDonald's in Louisville.

Metro Police were called to the fast food restaurant on Preston Highway near Indian Trail just after 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. Witnesses tell police that three armed men with masks entered the store and demanded money.

Four employees and a customer were in the restaurant, when a single shot was fired into the air.  The robbers did get away with money from the register. The only injury was to a man complaining of a minor leg injury, but he was not hit by gunfire.

The suspects reportedly ran toward a business on Indian Trail, and detectives believe they got into a car.  Police with K-9 units were spotted looking for evidence.

No arrests have been made. But anyone with information is being asked to call the police tip line at 502-574-LMPD (5673).
