Former Ky. high school football coach indicted on sex charges
He was arrested on June 4, following a six-month investigation by the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former head football coach at a Kentucky high school has been indicted on sex charges.
According to a news release from Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway's office, 46-year-old Ronald E. Barnard was indicted on charges of solicitation of a minor in a sexual activity, unlawful use of an electronic means to induce a minor to engage in a sexual performance, sexual abuse in the first degree and distribution of obscene matter to a minor.
Barnard is a former Marshall County High School head football coach. He was arrested on June 4, following a six-month investigation by the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.
He is currently out of custody on a $10,000 cash bond. If convicted, he could face 20 years in prison. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Aug. 4 at 11:30 a.m. in Marshall Circuit Court.
