Long standing southern Indiana restaurant to close

Posted: Updated:
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A long time name in the restaurant business is ending in southern Indiana.

Troy Lancaster says his Clarksville cafeteria and catering business will close after Friday night. He moved to Lewis and Clark Parkway a year ago because he lost his lease at his New Albany location.

He says the business never could recover from the harsh winter and it's been difficult competing with all the nearby chain restaurants.

Lancaster says "never say never" - but, for now, he has no plans to open at another location.
