Police looking for suspect after Fifth Third robbery

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --  Police are asking for the public's help to find the person who robbed a Fifth Third bank early Monday. 

No one was injured during the robbery. 

According to a news release from the LMPD Major Crimes-Robbery unit, it happened around 9 a.m. at the Fifth Third Bank at 5393 New Cut Road. That's when police say the suspect, armed with a gun, demanded and received money from bank employees. He left with an undetermined amount of cash on foot.

When last seen the suspect, believed to be between 50-55 years old, was on foot on Woodmore Avenue. He is described as a white male, with a medium build, about 5'7", and weighing approximately 150 pounds.
