LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a man who flashed a gun, robbed a gas station, and took off in a stolen car early Monday.

According to LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell, officers responded to a robbery call at the Circle K at 8801 Third Street Road around 7:30 a.m.
The clerk told us the suspect was wearing a toboggan when he showed her a gun and demanded cash. He then drove away. All entrances to Waverly Park were blocked for about an hour while police and K9 units searched for the suspect, but they had to scale down the manhunt to answer other calls.

According to an arrest report, that suspect was 35-year-old Ruairi Hancon. Earlier in the day, he allegedly held a woman at gunpoint and stole her vehicle, as she was getting into it on S. 3rd Street. Police say he then drove to the Circle K where he committed the robbery, driving away in the stolen vehicle.

Hancon was apprehended after he was seen on surveillance video getting into the stolen vehicle. He is now charged with robbery.

It was the second time police searched for suspects after an armed robbery on Tuesday. Two armed gunmen stormed a McDonald's on South Hurstbourne at Interstate 64 a few hours earlier, around 3 a.m.
