New website tells you if your home was a crime scene

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Inspections are typically part of every home buying experience, but finding cracked foundations and leaky roofs isn't the concern for a pair of brothers.

They’ve created a new website called It’s a website for finding out if your house has been the scene of a crime.

"I'm not the superstitious type,” says creator Albert Armieri. “That being said, I would not be happy living in a property where something horrible has happened in the past."

He's talking about murders, suicides, arsons and even meth labs.

20,000 homes and apartments across North America already make the online list – including 157 properties in Louisville.

There are more than 2,000 in Chicago.

Real estate agents say if the information is accurate, it could also play into negotiations.
