LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass in Simpsonville are very busy during opening weekend. But so far there have been no major traffic issues.

Things are a little slow near Exit 28 on I-64, but State police, Simpsonville police and mall security are all directing drivers.

The company that runs the outlet mall says traffic has been steady all weekend.

During peak times, it has taken some shoppers about 25 to 35 minutes to just get into the parking lots.

Traffic counts show more than 10,000 visitors per day since Thursday.

There are more than 6,000 parking spots, including the overflow lots.
