Suspect in Family Dollar robbery still at large

Posted: Updated:
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A Louisville woman says her sister was held up inside a Family Dollar. And police say the man had a knife.

It happened at the store on Kristin Drive in Louisville off Cane Run Road. LMPD officers say a black man about 5 feet 10 inches robbed the place and then ran off.

EMS responded to check out the employee who was a little shaken up. According to her sister, she had just come back to work after being shot back in January. What happened Sunday left her traumatized.

"I just thank God she's OK because the outcome could've been worse," said Shanta Moss, who's sister was the woman inside the store at the time. "I just want the person to know that whoever you are you might as well turn yourself in because you will not get away with this."

If you know anything about the robbery, you're asked to call the police tip line at 574-LMPD.
