LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The suspect involved in a three-hour standoff with LMPD's SWAT team Wednesday was arraigned Thursday morning.
Police say Dennis Hill Jr. locked himself inside his house in the 8500 block of Claudia Drive near Old Shepherdsville Road around 3 p.m. on Aug. 6. Officers say he had an assault weapon and was firing shots from inside the home.
According to an arrest report, one officer was hit by flying debris after Hill allegedly fired shots toward two officers. No one else was hit, but police evacuated neighbors from the area as a precaution.
Hill is charged with attempted murder of a police officer and wanton endangerment.
The judge set bond at $250,000 and entered a not guilty plea on Hill's behalf.
