LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The PGA briefly suspended second round play at Valhalla Friday because of wet conditions from this morning's heavy rain.

The postponement came less than 30 minutes after the morning's first tee time.

WDRB's Kelly Davis says PGA officials didn't ask fans to leave, just warned that conditions were wet and dangerous.

Round 2 play resumed at 8:35 a.m., and tee times are delayed 50 minutes. Rory McIlroy now tees off at 9:25 a.m.

Be sure to join the WDRB sports team at 6 p.m. tonight and Saturday for live, in-depth coverage from Valhalla, and again after the 10 o'clock news on Sunday for a wrap-up.
