LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Thunder over Louisville daredevil pilot crashed his stunt plane in Maine over the weekend.

Billy Werth has flown in Thunder for a few years, performing aerobatic maneuvers. Authorities say his bi-plane had mechanical problems and he crash landed it on a road in Standish, Maine on Sunday, missing traffic.

The 43-year-old posted on his Facebook page that he walked away with only two stitches in his hand. He also tells us he's "all good and will be flyin' again in no time!"

Werth is based out of Indianapolis, and was leaving the Maine area after performing in an air show.
