Wildlife in Need in Charlestown, Indiana offers close encounters with exotic animals

 LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Wildlife in Need, Inc. is a nonprofit organization in Charlestown, Indiana dedicated to the rehabilitation & release of indigenous wildlife & provision of permanent safe harbor to an array of exotic & endangered species.

Their latest fundraising effort includes 2 unique experiences.


Get up close and personal with one of the world's most endangered species for about 30 minutes in a large group setting. 

The Tiger cubs were born in captivity and will live their lives in captivity.

Bring your cameras because photos will be a welcome part of this 'hands on' experience.

Have a tiger posed in your arms for $20.00 cash.  


Meet an array of exotic Ambassadors in a separate facility with a separate admission ticket.

Ambassadors in this session will be under the guidance of volunteer animal handlers.

Animals that could appear include a South American Racoon, Cappucian Monkey or baby kangaroo.

Take a camera because photos are encouraged.

Be posed with an Exotic Animal Ambassador for $10.00 cash with as many people as your want per sitting with a 2 camera maximum.

Animal Ambassadors  to be determined by animal handlers.  No special requests.
