Enjoy FREE ice cream to raise $10,000 for The Salvation Army of Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- WDRB celebrity scoopers including Candyce Clifft will be at Fourth Street Live! on Wednesday, August 13 to raise money for the Salvation Army of Louisville.
Ten-thousand scoops of Velvet Moose Tracks Ice Cream will be served as part of a 10,000 Scoop Challenge issued by Denali Flavors (makers of Moose Tracks) to Louisville residents. For each scoop served, Denali Flavors will donate $1 to The Salvation Army of Louisville in an effort to raise $10,000 of new support for its vital community programs.
Local celebrities will be donating their time scooping for charity. During the event ice cream lovers can tweet the hash tag #10KScoops for a chance to win free ice cream for a year from Denali Flavors @Moose_Tracks.
