LMPD: Man sold stolen bicycle worth $5,000

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A Louisville man was arrested for selling a stolen bicycle that was valued at $5,000.

Stephon Murphy was arrested Wednesday morning in the 1400 block of Arling Avenue, near Taylor Boulevard for selling the bicycle to Dan's Pawn Shop, located on New Cut Road.

The bicycle was reportedly stolen on July 31.

Police say Murphy admitted that he sold the bicycle.

He is charged with receiving stolen property.
