LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- At 99-years-old, Ida Keeling set a world record by running the 100-meter dash in 59.8 seconds.

The time is a world record for her age group.

While she didn't win outright, those watching were still quite impressed and she feels great about it.

"My doctor told me two years straight I'm as healthy as a healthy 20-year-old,” Keeling said. “Hooray!"

Keeling says she isn't done running. The great, great grandmother says she's optimistic about next year, even about breaking another record at 100-years-old.
