POLICE: "Bad decision" led to sexual assault charges for Louisville man
According to the arrest report, it happened around 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 15. Police say the victim told investigators that 61-year-old Tommy Brown began forcing himself on her sexually when she let him in her apartment.
The victim told investigators she repeatedly told Brown "no" and tried to make him leave. According to the arrest report, she was finally able to get him out of the apartment with the help of one of her children.
Brown told police he "just made a bad decision."
Brown is charged with rape and sodomy. He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $20,000 full cash bond.
