LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A Lexington doctor crossed the finish line today at the Ironman and raised thousands of dollars to help with cancer research in the process.

33-year-old Jonathan Feddock started the triathlon in last place.

He was sponsored, and for every person he passed he was raising money for renovations and new equipment at UK's Markey Cancer Center.

He ended up placing 34th for his overall time.

Dr. Feddock says he passed more than 2,000 people and raised more than $34,000.

Combined with donations on his website, he raised more than $54,000 overall.
