High-profile politicians lend support to Kentucky's U.S. Senate candidates

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – A pair of high profile politicians are wading into Kentucky's U.S. Senate Race to lend their support to each candidate. 

Mitt Romney is coming to Kentucky to raise money for Mitch McConnell, while the former U.S. Secretary of State under Bill Clinton, Madeleine Albright, is endorsing Alison Lundergan Grimes.

In a news release, Albright calls Grimes one of the brightest young leaders in America.

Kentucky U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell's campaign says the 2012 Republican presidential nominee will visit Lexington on October Second. Kentucky native and Alliance Resource Partners CEO Joe Craft will host the event.
