LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Outsized Influence Festival Saturday, August 30th celebrates Bellarmine University's rich musical tradition and impact on the region's music scene.

The FREE one-day, three-stage event features 14 bands.

Each band includes at least one member of the Bellarmine community, with participating alumni who graduated sometime between 1991 and 2014, plus current students and faculty members.  Outsized Influence will feature genres across the board, including DJ Dr. Dundiff & Friends, guitar virtuoso Craig Wagner and his trio, and Small Time Napoleon, with their combination of jazz, folk and pop.

Bellarmine senior Will Ford created the festival with music instructors Todd Hildreth and Ben Aguilar.

The Outsized Influence Festival happens from 3 to 10 p.m. in the quad at Bellarmine University, 2001 Newburg Road.  Food trucks from the Louisville Street Food Alliance will be parked on campus for the festival.
