LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jury selection continues today for a man charged with killing a witness who was supposed to testify in his brother's trial.

On Tuesday, two witnesses said they weren't going to testify in Dejuan Hammond's third murder trial, and will likely be held in contempt of court.

Hammond is accused of killing Troya Sheckles in 2009 in broad daylight in front of dozens of people in Victory Park. Sheckles was a witness in the murder murder trial of Lloyd Hammond, Dejuan Hammond's brother.

Hammond's first trial was dismissed because of missing witnesses; a second trial ended with a mistrial.

Jury selection will continue on Thursday.
