Kentucky Bluegrass & Bourbon Experience returns to the Louisville Water Tower
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Four Roses Bourbon Kentucky Bluegrass & Bourbon Experience returns to the Louisville Water Tower for its 9th consecutive year this weekend, Saturday, August 30th and Sunday, August 31st.
The festival highlights Kentucky's musical heritage, bringing together local and national bluegrass performers with traditional and southern foods.
The festival's Bourbon Experience will be housed in an air-conditioned tent. Festival-goers can escape the heat while tasting a variety of well-known and "craft" bourbons for a nominal fee. The 9th annual festival will also serve up barbecue and other beverages.
Headlining this year, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out on Saturday and The Hogslop String Band on Sunday. The vendor market will showcase authentic arts and crafts from across Kentucky.
The festival kicks off Saturday, August 30th from 4:00pm to 11:00pm and continues Sunday, August 31st, from 4:00pm to 11:00pm. Admission is $10 before 6:00 p.m. and $14 after 6:00 p.m.; children 10 and under FREE.
Parking is FREE but no outside food, drinks, or pets are allowed. Lawn chairs and blankets are permitted.
