Pugs invading Louisville for National Speciality Dog Show

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)---More than 320 pugs have invaded Louisville!

This week more the furry friends are on hand in Louisville to participate in the Pug National Speciality Dog Show at the Holiday Inn East on Hurstbourne.

Officials say there are pugs representing much of America and several countries throughout the world.

The dog show is at a different site each year.

The show started Monday and lasts all week.

It's free and open to the public.

“We'd like to have people out here, we have meet the breeds booth with education for people and we have festivities going on all day and all evening long here,” said Jason Huff, President of the Dog Club of America.

The last National Specialty dog show held in Louisville was 20 years ago.
