Hula skirts encouraged for the Home of the Innocents' Big Ol' Backyard BBQ
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Grab your hula skirt and join Home of the Innocents for their 9th Annual Big Ol' Backyard BBQ. Local chefs step out of their kitchens and into the Home of the Innocents' backyard to prepare a gourmet BBQ feast with a Polynesian theme.
The fundraising event happens on Saturday, September 6th from 4:30 to 8:30, 1100 East Market Street. Sample dishes from some of Louisville's Top Chefs You are encouraged to wear a Hawaiian shirt or grass skirt, or both.
Tickets: $50 per person, Seniors: $30, Students: (11-18) $20, Kids 10 and under: FREE, Reserved table of eight people: $500. This event provides fun for the entire family, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the children at the Home.
Home of the Innocents has helped children in crisis since 1880. The Home provides therapeutic care to medically fragile children; children who are victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect; and children with autism and other behavioral health diagnoses.
