LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Police arrested a Louisville man they say committed a series of robberies at multiple Speedway gas stations across the Louisville area.

Jackie Lamont Neal, 42, was arrested early Monday morning in the 6400 block of Venango Drive near Greenwood Road, in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood, for allegedly robbing four Speedway gas stations in the Louisville area.

Police records say the robberies occurred between Aug. 8 and Aug. 31. The three stores are located at 4547 Taylorsville Rd., 7430 Terry Rd. and 5339 Dixie Highway. Police records say that Neal robbed the Taylorsville Road location two different times on Aug. 8 and 18.

Police say that in each of the robberies, Neal entered the businesses and told employees that he was armed with a gun. He reportedly demanded cash, and fled after receiving it.

Neal faces four counts of robbery and is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
