LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Jeffersontown Police have arrested a man who they say harassed a female victim at a Jeffersontown city council meeting.

Russell Greear, 57, was arrested Tuesday evening at Jeffersontown's City Hall, where police say he harassed a woman during a council meeting.

Police records say that Greear repeatedly made "kissing sounds" by puckering his lips while female judicial candidates were speaking.

Greear reportedly attempted to follow one of the women as she tried to leave the meeting, according to police. Greear allegedly demanded the woman's phone number and when she refused to give it to him, police say Greear became "irate."

Police instructed Greear to leave, but he reportedly would not do so.

Greear was arrested and now faces charges of harassment, disorderly conduct, menacing, and resisting arrest.
