LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- With the drop of one very large bucket, the staff at Kentucky Kingdom have complete the ALS ice bucket challenge.

Today, the CEO and President of Kentucky Kingdom, along with several park employees got the ice bath.

They were challenged by amusement park owners in Arkansas and they completed the challenge in the Hurricane Bay Park under the Splash Zone attraction.

"That's 400 gallons of ice water dare say one of the biggest buckets dropped for the ALS cause. We're all about fun here at Kentucky Kingdom,” president Ed Hart said. “It was a fun day for our staff, but it's a serious, serious cause.”

Hart has now challenged Coca-Cola, LG&E, Kroger and McDonalds.

Today's challenge raised more than $2,500.
