LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - The conditions of two hospitalized firefighters are improving.

That's the word from Campbellsville's Fire Chief as two firefighters remain hospitalized.

Captain Tony Grider and Firefighter Alex Quinn were in a fire truck when the department was helping with an ice bucket challenge at Campbellsville University.

Electricity arced from nearby powerlines, shocking both men.

In
a short statement, Fire Chief Kyle Smith said that Quinn's condition is improving and that he's now in good spirits.

Captain Grider remains in critical condition, but there are signs of improvement.
