LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested two people who were allegedly involved in the trafficking of multiple drugs.

According to arrest reports, police executed a search warrant at a home on Gorham Way, near the intersection of Beulah Church Road and Johnson School Road, just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the home was the residence of 34-year-old Rodney S. Woods and 38-year-old Amy Age.

Inside the home, officers allegedly found methamphetamine, powder cocaine, marijuana, heroin and several hundred pills, including morphine, hydrocodone, oxycodone and clonazepam. Police say they also found a marijuana grow operation that included lighting, ventilation, timers and 13 marijuana plants.

Additionally, police allegedly found three handguns, as well as drug ledgers, digital scales, glass meth pipes and U.S. currency.

All of the drugs were packaged in such a way so as to make it appear that they were for sale, according to arrest reports.

Police say that when they searched the home, Woods barricaded himself in a back bedroom and tried to destroy the marijuana plants. Police say they forced entry into the bedroom, and Woods threw a marijuana plant at them.

Both he and Age were arrested and charged with enhanced trafficking in heroin, enhanced trafficking in methamphetamine, enhanced trafficking in cocaine, enhanced trafficking in marijuana and enhanced cultivating in marijuana.

Woods was also charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
