LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A fourth suspect in the shooting death of a one-year-old child turned himself in to the Public Defender's Office Tuesday.

Demarkus Tramber surrendered to police in connection with the shooting death of 16-month-old Ne'Riah Miller.

Christopher 2X says he picked Tramber up in the Shawnee neighborhood and he didn't speak a word during the ride.

“He wanted to relieve himself of the pressure of being sought after by law enforcement,” 2X said.

Ne'Riah's great grandmother says she's relieved he's off the streets, but it's hard to move past what happened at the home on 37th Street.

“That was the best thing he could have did,” Sherrie Miller said. “That's what I wanted him to do was turn himself in.”

Ne'Riah was in her mother's arms on the porch when they were gunned down in late August. Cierra Miller-Twyman was seriously injured.

Tramber is charged with complicity to murder, wanton endangerment and assault, in connection with the shooting. William McLemore, 19, was arraigned Monday on the same charges.

Trey Anderson and Michael Dunn have been arrested and charged with murder for the shooting. Tramber is being held on a $500,000 bond.

Attorneys for two of the men indicted in the fatal shooting of a toddler in the Shawnee neighborhood have asked that the cases be dismissed because a prosecutor was on the grand jury panel that handed up the indictments.

When asked about the possibility that more suspects are out there, Miller said “long as we know, that we feel there's somebody out here we're never going to heal. So we need for them to turn themselves in.”
