LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say two college students who were home for the weekend endured a terrifying night in Shelbyville when they were carjacked earlier this month.

It happened on the evening of Friday, Sept. 5.

Police say Corey Palmer and two juveniles pulled guns on the college students while they were in a car at White Castle. They allegedly forced one of the students into the trunk, and made the other drive them all to Louisville, as well as Henry County.

Police say the suspects took $100 from the victims, as well as their cell phones.

Palmer and his accomplices fled the next morning, after forcing the victims to drive them to Pleasureville, Kentucky. Palmer was arrested yesterday afternoon on Mount Eden Road. He's charged with kidnapping and robbery.

The identities of the juvenile suspects are unavailable, as all juvenile records are sealed by law.
