LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A ticket sold in Louisville for the Sept. 24 Powerball drawing matched the five white balls drawn but not the Powerball, winning the game's second prize of $1 million.

The winning ticket matched these white ball winning numbers: 7-14-21-24-41, according to a news release from the Kentucky Lottery.

Lottery security personnel are currently conducting a security check on the store where the winning ticket was sold. As soon as this check is completed the name and address of the retailer will be released.

"We're looking forward to meeting our newest millionaire," said Chip Polston, the Kentucky Lottery's VP of communications. "The winner should sign their name on the back of the ticket immediately, and then bring it to our Louisville headquarters when they're ready to claim their prize. We'll have the four-foot-long check waiting for them."

Polston said the winner has 180 days from Wednesday's drawing to claim the prize.
