LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A girl from Sellersburg, Indiana is about to take a "mAAgic Flight."

Elaina Morris, age 12, is headed to Orlando for a week-long vacation with her family. She had a sendoff celebration Friday morning at Louisville International Airport, complete with a cake, pink balloons, a tiara, handmade posters and presents.

Elaina be joining 35 other children with life-threatening medical conditions at the "Give Kids the World Village" resort. The village includes a wheelchair-accessible pool, a wishing well and the world's largest and only life-sized version of the children's game Candy Land.

She'll also be headed to Disney World.

"I think it's awesome to meet other kids who have other problems," she told WDRB. "You're not alone. You've got other kids from all across the country who have problems. I just thought it was so cool. I read the paper and I was like, 'Wow!' I was just amazed."

The trip is sponsored by the "Something mAAgic Foundation" and "The American Airlines Kids in Need" funds.
