LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell says a woman has been taken to University Hospital after she was found in the trunk of a car at Third and St. Catherine.

Police have not said who the woman is or what her condition is. Police are investigating, but they do not have any suspects.

Some parents told WDRB they were walking to pick up their kids from school and heard noises from the car. On their way back they heard the sounds again and realized the sounds were coming from the trunk.

They called police, picked up a brick, broke the driver's window and opened the trunk. A witness says the woman inside was passed out, but okay.

A family friend tells us it's Aundrea Stone and she had been using her daughter's car, which is where she was found; though police are not confirming that name.

Police say they still do not have anyone in custody.
