LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville woman allegedly used her 8-year-old daughter as a lookout while she was shoplifting at Kmart, according to an arrest report.

Police say that on Monday, Sept. 29, just before 5 p.m., Mosley walked into the Kmart on Poplar Level Road, near the Watterson Expressway. She then allegedly placed her 8-year-old daughter in the shopping cart, "in a position so that she can act as a lookout" while Mosley concealed merchandise on her person and in her purse, then walked out of the store without paying for the items.

When a loss prevention employee confronted Mosley, she came back into the store and then "became violent," according to the arrest report, pushing and shoving him and hitting him with her elbows, trying to get away.

Police arrived a short time later to arrest her, and she allegedly resisted. Police say they were able to restrain her, but only after threatening to tase her.

Mosley was taken into custody and charged with robbery, resisting arrest and engaging in an unlawful transaction with a minor.
