LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Indiana State Police responded to reports of a domestic abuse early Saturday morning in Loogootee, Ind.

What they found in the home ultimately led to a much different kind of arrest.

Edward McCloskey, 56, was arrested after 30 marijuana plants and a methamphetamine lab was found in the basement of the home at 305 Bloomfield Road.

Officers initially reached an agreement regarding the domestic dispute, and the two parties separated.

Soon after leaving, though, officers received information about the cultivation of marijuana and methamphetamine.

A warrant was granted and they returned to the house around 6 a.m., where the marijuana plants, meth lab and other drug paraphernalia were found and confiscated.

McCloskey was arrested without incident and is being held in the Marion County Jail on seven charges, four of which are felonies.
