CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WDRB) -- The Green Tree Mall in Clarksville is celebrating the completion of a major makeover.

Renovations included modernizing all the entrances that face the Lewis and Clark Parkway, as well as updates to restrooms, seating areas, and the Turtle Run play area.

Several Clarksville officials attended a ribbon cutting ceremony on Oct. 30, including Clarksville Council President Bob Polston.

"After all these years they're willing to put the money in and have a facelift," Polston said. "They believe in Clarksville and we believe in the Green Tree Mall, where good things happen."

Green Tree Mall's General Manager Chris Cullin tells us the mall's last update was nearly 20 years ago. He says the updates should bring fresh, new stores to the mall.
