JCPS Bus involved in crash in southwest Jefferson County

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- JCPS Bus #0943 was involved in a crash Thursday morning.

No one on the bus was injured.

According to JCPS spokeswoman Helene Kramer, it happened just before 6:30 a.m. in southwest Jefferson County on Scotts Gap Road at Blevins Gap Road.

Kramer says a pickup truck crashed head-on into the bus that was on its way to the Fairdale bus compound to take students to Valley High School and Stuart Middle School. Two students and the driver were on the bus.

The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
