LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Brown Forman employees with military backgrounds spent Thursday learning how to turn their military training into corporate skills.
Retired three star general and now corporate executive Kevin Campbell spoke at Thursday's event. He currently works for Northrop Grumman in Alabama.
Prior to joining the military Campbell served for 37 years in the Army, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant General.
Campbell explained why he believes veterans make good employees.
"They're in the service and they understand service, so when they come out to the civilian community, they understand they have an obligation t do more," Campbell said.
Brown-Forman has its own resource group to inform hiring managers of the special skills military veterans can bring to their company.
