U of L student reports robbery, LMPD seeking three suspects

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A U of L student reported a robbery Friday afternoon near Second and Lee Streets.

The student told police three men robbed him between 3:10 and 3:20 p.m. near the northern part of U of L's campus. 

Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating and says the victim described three Hispanic males between 17 and 20-years-old. The student told police the three men struck him in the face and took his backpack and wallet.

The three men were last seen headed west on Lee Street toward the Province. 

Police say the first suspect was wearing a black jacket with 'ENYCHA' in white letters on the back. The second  was wearing a green, short-sleeved shirt. The third was wearing a black and white pinstriped NY baseball cap.
