Man injured during Shepherdsville house fire

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - One man was injured during a fire that happened at a home in Shepherdsville early Saturday, according to an official social media account affiliated with the Shepherdsville Fire Department.

The victim reportedly sustained second degree burns during the fire.

The Shepherdsville Fire Department was dispatched to the fire, which happened at the intersection of Joe B. Hall and Carpenter streets.

The first firefighters arrived at the scene at 4:53 a.m.
 
A male victim was found inside the home during a search. The victim was unconscious and unresponsive and was taken out of the home at 4:58 a.m.

The victim was transported to U of L Hospital, where he is in serious but stable condition.
