Prosecutors say suspect in quadruple homicide hired hitman, then killed him

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A twist in a quadruple murder case where a man is accused of killing his parents, sister and another man.

36-year-old Ryan Champion has been indicted on charges of murder, complicity to commit murder and complicity to commit kidnapping.

Along with Champion's family members the body of 22-year-old Vito Riservato was found shot to death.

Prosecutors say Riservato, the other man who was killed in the family's Cadiz, Kentucky home last month, was hired by the the suspect to kill his family.

Prosecutors say Champion hired Riservato as the hitman, then Champion killed him.
