Southeast Bullitt firefighter injured while responding to call

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A Southeast Bullitt firefighter was hurt while responding to a call on Friday evening, according to Captain Nick Dachille with the Zoneton Fire Department.

Justin Campisano, who is also a volunteer fireman with the Zoneton Fire Department, was injured while he was responding to a call at around 9 p.m., according to officials, while he was working with the Southeast Bullitt Fire Department.  

The fire happened on Lick Skillet Farms Road, off Highway 480, according to officials.

Campisano has been a volunteer firefighter with the Zoneton fire department for about five years.

The extent of Campisano's injuries is currently unknown.
