LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man after they say he tried to sell a stolen firearm on Facebook.

According to an arrest report, it happened on Oct. 30. Police say 18-year-old Austin Comstock made postings on Facebook attempting -- successfully -- to sell a firearm that had been reported stolen by his father.

But he ran into one problem: his father saw the Facebook posting, and recognized the firearm in the images.

As a result, Comstock was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with -- among other things -- receipt of stolen property.
