LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Four men have been arrested after police say they shot a person in East Louisville.

It happened near the corner of Indian Lake Drive and Freys Hill Road, just before 10 p.m. Monday.

Police say 21-year-old Derrick Floyd of Cincinnati, 22-year-old Charles Britten of Cincinnati, 19-year-old Abel Yukunoamlak of Cincinnati and 19-year-old Emonte Middlebrook went to a home on Indian Lakes Circle to buy marijuana.

But police say something else happened. The four men shot a person multiple times, causing life-threatening injuries. They also allegedly robbed another person there, taking the victim's cell phone and wallet.

The four men then tried to get away, but were arrested a short time later by police, near the corner of Indian Lake Drive and Westport Road, according to the report. The robbery victim was able to identify two of the men, police say, and that victim's cell phone was found on the side of the road.

All four of the men are charged with first degree assault and first degree robbery.
